Riva & Jonathan Wedding

Since meeting at a live action roleplaying game in 2011, Riva and Jonathan have been united by their creativity and deep love for one another. Over the years, they have built a life together filled with joy, companionship, and a shared passion for storytelling, alongside their beloved dogs, chinchillas, and countless weekends spent immersed in games and imaginative worlds.

Riva began her journey at the University of North Texas, pursuing her talents in art while expressing her compassion through veterinary care. Later, she supported and encouraged Jonathan as he completed his own degree at UNT. Jonathan, in turn, has cultivated a love of games, storytelling, community, and bringing stories to life for friends, always grounded by Riva’s unwavering support.

From tales of vampires and werewolves to zombies and anime, they have marked each chapter of their journey together with adventures across the United States, creative projects, and unforgettable moments with friends. They have explored the white sands of New Mexico, the beaches of Galveston, and the forests of New York, all while building a partnership that has carried them through every challenge.

Together, they have taken on milestones like homeownership, navigated the trials of a global pandemic, and shared endless laughter with their furry companions. After more than a decade together, they are excited to take the next step in their journey by celebrating their love with family and friends at their wedding on April 11, 2027.
